[12.03.10]THE TITANIDES ARE GOING TO DIVISION 1
Yesterday in Goirle a thrilling game unfolded before the eyes of the spectators. The Ladiejags versus the Titanides in an epic battle for the promotion or degradation. Early in the game the Titanides managed to get the head start, but the Ladyjags faught back hard. The game constantely switched from a lead score to a tied score. Within minutes before the end of the game the Titanides managed to keep their shots up and finished the game victorious. The Titanides are going to the 1st division of the WDNLL!!!
[01.01.10] TITANIDES WELCOME THEIR NEW COACH & TRAINER
On the Newyears Toast 2010, Tilburg Lacrosse and especially the Titanides welcome their new coach and trainer: Marielle Finders! Marielle is a known fieldhockey specialist and international referee and she is going to train and coach our womens lacrosse team for the 2010 season. The board wishes Marielle a great and fun lacrosse season!
[10.05.09] TITANIDES BEAT THE KANNIBALZ! FINAL SCORE: 7-5
Today the Titanides came home with their very first victory ever. On the wet fields of Nijmegen our girls played the Kannibalz. Pumped up with energy and confidence the Titanides took hold of the game with a 5-0 lead in the first half. The first half was played with great offence.
The second part of the game the Kannibalz took over by scoring 4 goals in 10 minutes which took the score to a nerve wrecking 5-4. The girls from Tilburg regained their spirit, held their heads up high and finally took home a well deserved victory. Determination and teamplay sealed the deal with a final score of 7-5 for the Titanides.
[25.10.09] FIRST GAME TITANIDES
After months of hard work and practise our womens team the Tilburg Titanides played their very first game ever. With nerves in their body the Titanides took the field and after a couple of minutes player #6 Evelien Blitterwijk scored the first goals of the match and of the Titanides ever. What a fantastic and intens moment for our Titanides!
After this goal the Titanides shook of the nervers and started to play a great game. Good defence, good offence, lots of energy on midfield, great communication. Everything they practised, came together in excellent teamplay. They played with heart and soul, gained lots of respect from the opponent for their skills and showed lacrosse playing NL that they, as a team, are ready for some fierce competition.
[01.09.09] THE OFFICAL TITANIDES OUTFITS
Today the Titanides reached a milestone in the Tilburg lacrosse history. After months of training and teambuilding the club presented with pride the official Tilburg Titanides game outfits! All dressed in red & blue, the Titanides are now a uniform part of Tilburg lacrosse and an officially good looking womens lacrosse team.
[13.03.09] FIRST PRACTISE TILBURG TITANIDES
A new milestone for lacrosse in Tilburg! On this historical friday the first girls entered the field for the very first official practise of the womens lacrosse team in Tilburg: The Tilburg Titanides. In the first few months, the Titanides practises will be maily focussed on the lacrosse basics and teambuilding. The promo clinics were a great succes so let's keep our fingers crossed for more interested girls.
